It is a training based on the construction of physical actions. It induces the participant to move from a common language and not form dance codes. It decodes and destructs the established and predetermined languages of the dance. The class is representation of control and physical intuition, its purpose is to create states: physical, mental and even emotional from taxation. It takes the body to its maximum capabilities with a corporately controlled risk. Guide the pupils to find the truth in their body and to contact their own way of moving, to assume the information regarding their intuition.

The class is experiential learning.​



Francisco Córdova  (México)

Dancer, Choreographer, Educator.

Francisco Córdova is positioned within the national and international scenic market as a performer, choreographer and educator, participating in several summits and festivals in more than 30 countries around the world. He is currently qualified as one of the most representative educators and performers of the new European contemporary dance scene. Francisco Córdova, is director of the PHYSICAL MOMENTUM company, director of ATLAS México Festival and director of the training program of Techniques of Movement (TDM) in Mexico and Barcelona. He is a direct disciple of David Zambrano. He has obtained two Master Degrees: Master in Theater Studies and Stage Direction and a Master in Stage Lighting from the Institut del Teatre (IT) in Barcelona, Spain. He majored in Contemporary Dance at the National School of Dance (ENDCC) in Mexico. He also studied in Montreal, Canada and in New York, U.S.


With an uninterrupted 19 year long professional artistic career, Francisco has been part of numerous companies and projects over a period of almost two decades. Since the year 2006 he developed his methodological proposal Body-Action, which he has taught at several workshops in very important international art centers. The press mentions him as “one of the seven emerging choreographers”; “An international benchmark and one of the most representative performers of the new Mexican dance scene”, becoming one of the most remarkable ambassadors of Mexican performing arts in an international horizon. He has become a fundamental piece within the academic networks in Europe, Asia and Latin America, his research and training practice stands out among the main teaching vanguards worldwide, being part of renown festivals, institutions and schools, such as:

The reflexive body

The reflexive body It's a training method based in explorations and corporal visualizations directed to understand the hidden mechanism of the movement, the consequence it could be a more organic and conscious way of moving. It starts as a training where moving, is the logic consequence of each body and then enhance their natural capacities. The class is raised to energize body mechanisms, that will allow actively reflect on the movement through the technical sequences developed in each class. The movement become in the body reflection. The class have a simple structure that enters the student in a gentle way, to end up moving in a complex, dynamic and energetic way. Develops body strengthening through the dynamics and sensations that are organized in the common and uncommon exercises in the dance. The movement is learned from the reasons of the body itself more than the aesthetic ideas. You work with the anatomy, rather than against it.




Beto Pérez (México)

Director of Proyecto Ítaca and Co-director of Festival ATLAS.


Teacher, performer, choreographer and pedagogue in Técnicas de Movimiento, specifically contemporary dance. He begins his studies at the special groups of Dance at the National System for Professional Teaching in Dance (SNEDP) INBA, Mexico.

He was a part of dance companies such as Barro Rojo (Arturo Garrido), Ensamble Tiempo de Bailar (Vicente Silva) and ASYC (Alicia Sánchez) in Mexico; and with the companies Acción Colectiva - Teatro Físico (Julie Barnsley) and Rajatabladanza (Eduardo Castillo) in Caracas, Venezuela . He has participated in theatre montages with the company Teatro Línea de Sombra (Jorge Vargas, Alicia Laguna) and as a guest dancer with the company Danza Concierto (Peter Palacio) from Medellín, Colombia.


Invited as a performer, teacher and choreographer to numerous dance and theatre festivals in Mexico, United States, Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Chile, Brasil, Venezuela, Russia, Spain, France, Germany, Scotland, England and China. Creator and producer of Proyecto Ítaca, where he currently directs his scenic research as a creator and performer. His personal scenic project dates back to 1994 including works, co creations and mentorships with diverse choreographers and performers, as well as teaching courses and workshops regarding movement techniques and performance work.

Since 1995 he has been developing a personal research regarding performing arts, formulating methods of creative work for dancers and actors. He collaborates, mentors, performs and co-creates with the company Physical Momentum – Scenic Action by Francisco Córdova.


He has taught courses and workshops in Escuela de Danza Morena Celarié and Universidad Nacional de El Salvador, (San Salvador, El Salvador); Instituto Superior de Danza de Caracas, (Caracas, Venezuela); Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Bogotá, Colombia) Temporada Internacional de Danza (Medellín, Colombia); Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN); CEDART Diego Rivera; Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Centro de las Artes (Salamanca, Mexico) among others.


Currently he teaches at Diplomado de Prácticas Escénicas Contemporáneas (2008-2012) and as a resident teacher at Escuela Nacional de Danza Clásica y Contemporánea, (ENDCC) INBA-CENART (1996-2014). He has been grant recipient in the category of Performers 1997-1998. Mentioned as one of the 3 best dancers in Mexico by Zona de Danza Magazine.
